One of them Strawberry Princess Shortcake , beautiful and delicious, full of girlish feeling. I thought I must replicate it and share it with everyone.

The base of shortbread is similar to that of scone, with a little more crispy and fluffy.
Grated iced butter combined with sour cream makes the shortbread itself sweeter than a biscuit and fuller than a scone. Baked shortbread will have a sweet crust on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with sweet and sour strawberry filling and refreshing cream, Crispy and dense, with delicious sweet and sour taste 。

This shortbread recipe is also very simple, just cut and mix together! It’s too hot to go out, so you can get a high-value afternoon tea at home!

1. Wash, pedicle and slice strawberries. Put in 55 g sugar, stir well, and put in the refrigerator to chill (2 hours is best)

2. Put sour cream, a few drops of vanilla extract, and a whole egg into a bowl, stir well, and set aside

3. Put medium gluten flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together and mix well.

4. Take out the butter from the refrigerator and cut it into small pieces (be sure to use cold butter, which is the key to delicious shortbread), Then add the butter to the well mixed dough and cut with a spatula to mix well.

5. Dig a small hole in the dough and slowly pour in the prepared liquid (instead of pouring it all at once, adjust it according to the actual state of the dough, pour it in batches and mix evenly until the dough can form a piece!)

6. After forming the dough, gently roll it into a rectangle with a thickness of about 2.5 cm with a rolling pin.

7. Press the shape with something round around you (such as a cup, about 10 cm in diameter)

8. Apply milk to the surface.

9. There is no need to preheat the middle layer of the upper and lower tubes of the oven at 190 °C for 15 minutes, then turn to the upper tube at 180 °C for 3 minutes. (Remember to preheat the non-preheating oven in advance)

10. Beat whipping cream (240 ml whipping cream + 15 g sugar)

11. A layer of shortcake, a layer of cream and a layer of strawberries 🍓 Assemble it and it’s done.
